Bowl for Kids' Sake - Masquerade Bowl
Bowl for Kids’ Sake is about having fun to help kids. Bowl for Kids’ Sake, or BFKS, offers everyone in our community a chance to positively impact a child’s life.
The event takes place in early March each year on a Saturday and Sunday, and there are four two-hour bowling sessions, two on each day of the event, at noon and 2pm. Starting in 2012, the celebratory bowling party became a “Masquerade Bowl” theme! Bowlers are invited to come dressed in their masquerade bowl best (although costumes are not mandatory).
Here’s how to get involved:
1. Form a team of four or more people. Register online by visiting the BBBS website and then clicking on the Bowl for Kids’ Sake link or by calling our office. Make sure to indicate the time slot your team would like to bowl!
2. Each team member is asked to raise $75 (or pay a $75 participation fee). Ask your family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to support you for this event!
3. Come as a team to the Masquerade Bowl with your collected money and/or donation report to Spare Time Northampton! Bowling shoes and rental fees are on us, just prepare to have fun!
