Cancer House of Hope Virtual Yoga Classes

Furthering its mission of providing relaxing and therapeutic services to patients with cancer and their loved ones at no cost, CHD's Cancer House of Hope is offering virtual yoga classes for cancer patients and survivors beginning Wednesday, May 20, 2020.

Co-sponsored by Cancer House of Hope and Baystate Health’s Rays of Hope, the program will run twice per week through Zoom on Wednesdays* from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

*Beginning June 16,  a new series on Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. will replace Wednesdays.

Patricia “Niti” Seip Martin, a regular yoga practitioner at Cancer House of Hope and the founder of Healing Art of Yoga for Ongoing Cancer Recovery, will guide these personalized yoga classes geared toward home practice.

Please note that a Zoom invitation is required to join this virtual program. Those interested in joining a yoga class can email Cancer House of Hope program director Margaret Toomey directly at mtoomey@chd.org. For additional information, please call the Cancer House of Hope at 413-733-1858.

“Yoga is a regularly offered program at Cancer House of Hope, and one that our participants are very fond of,” said Program Director Margaret Toomey. “We’re very pleased to be able to offer this relaxing therapy virtually until we are able to safely resume in-person activities again.”
