About the MaryAnne’s Kids Fund

This special fund was established at CHD in honor and memory of MaryAnne Sadak, a local woman who devoted her life to fostering children and teens in the state’s care. Financed completely by charitable donations, proceeds from the MaryAnne’s Kids Fund are used to help kids served in CHD’s foster and residential programs the opportunity to pursue their interests and prepare for important life events. Those interests have included learning to play a musical instrument, playing on a sports team, going to summer camp, purchasing a prom dress, completing a GED, or paying for driver’s education.
