At CHD our mission is to provide community based care to all people, believing that everyone deserves the opportunity to life to the fullest in the community of their choosing. Adults with developmental disabilities face unique challenges in regards to living in the community. Some need help with cooking, shopping or money management. Others require support and supervision throughout the day and evening. All have unique interests that they would like to pursue.
CHD’s Developmental Services provide daily living assistance to adults with developmental challenges. Program participants receive specific supports based on their individual needs. More than 60 people reside in our 20 residential group homes and our outreach program helps scores of others to live independently.
