Become a Big
Mentoring a child through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County is a fun and meaningful volunteer experience in your community. Our ‘Bigs’ and ‘Littles’ spend time together 2-4 times a month, doing activities they both enjoy. They might be playing catch, making crafts, hiking, playing board games, fishing, cooking, going to movies, bike riding, and more! In addition, we offer free opportunities for our Big/Little matches to attend cultural and athletic events in the region. Throughout your match, you’ll have the support of a dedicated BBBS staff member who will provide guidance and fun activity ideas for you and your Little to try.
There are nearly 200 children in Hampshire County currently waiting to be matched with someone like YOU!
What’s the process?
Attend a Big Brothers Big Sisters information session (locations in throughout Hampshire County) to learn about the program and see if it’s a good fit for you. Volunteers must be 18 or older, have access to a reliable vehicle, and commit to one year in the program. Contact us at email@example.com or (413) 259-3345 to learn more!
