CHD has been a leader in behavioral health services in our community for more than 50 years. Now, you can receive counseling and therapy from a licensed, highly trained clinician in your home or virtually any suitable location with Where You Are, our new remote mental-health support network.

Here’s how it works: Just call 1-844-CHD-HELP and have your insurance card handy. We will set up an appointment for you to connect with a therapist on your computer or mobile device—securely and compliant with all privacy guidelines. Video and audio-only appointments are available, and we even have urgent-care appointments available for people who would benefit from immediate support.

Whether it’s family or marital stress, parenting challenges, anxiety or depression, substance-use concerns or any number of other mental-health challenges, we are here for you. As we always have been.

Telehealth is now a covered benefit in Massachusetts. Most private insurance are accepted as well as MassHealth and Medicare.

Children’s Virtual Therapy Services

Early Intervention & Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative via Telehealth

In order to expand our outstanding behavioral and developmental support services to people from all walks of life, we have put in place some innovative new offerings to our Early Intervention (EI) and Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative (CBHI) services to provide high-quality support on a virtual basis. We are actively accepting referrals, including those of providers, concerned parents and more. Most insurances are accepted.

Early Intervention:

CHD’s early intervention program continues to lead the way providing services to children and families through by providing a telehealth option (video/phone communication) if so desired. Our multidisciplinary team is excited to have this opportunity to support and provide developmental services resources and professional therapy via a coaching model to new and currently enrolled families. Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative:

Our experienced CBHI team is ready to support your child and your family through secure video, and provide check-ins via phone or text. We cover Hampshire, Hampden, Franklin, and parts of Worcester County, and there is little to no wait time. Once the referral is made, a clinical supervisor will contact you with more information, and continue support right up to the time the team is put in place. Yes. Your therapist can connect you with other services that you may need. That’s the value of a large and integrated organization such as CHD—many services all under one roof, with ease of access.

Many of our therapists have specialized expertise such as individual and family therapy, groups as well as home-based therapy.  Clinicians are available who specialize in working with young children, teens, couples and families.  We have a robust Dialectical Behavior Therapy program (DBT), a counseling method frequently used to help people who’ve been traumatized.  We also offer groups to address substance abuse issues. We also offer services to assist with: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACRA: specialized treatment for youth with substance abuse problems, Gambling Addictions, grief and bereavement as well as substance abuse.
