Tracey Decker named CHD’s Chief Operating Officer

Tracey Decker has joined CHD as the Chief Operating Officer, bringing to our agency extensive leadership experience in integrated healthcare operations, including behavioral health.

For the past nine years, Decker has served as the Chief Administrative Officer at InterCommunity Health Care, a Hartford, CT-based integrated healthcare provider with 18 behavioral health, addiction recovery, and community support services locations.

Prior to that, she was Senior Director of Operations at Concertra Medical/Urgent Care in Springfield, where she provided leadership to multiple locations in western Massachusetts and Connecticut. Before her work at Concertra, Decker was Center Manager at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, where she oversaw the clinic’s daily operations.

Decker is a former firefighter/EMT with the Somers, CT Fire Department and at UTC Hamilton Standard in East, Windsor, CT.

She earned her BS in Human Services Administration at Kaplan University and her MS in Human Services-Organizational and Social Services at Purdue University Global. She received her Lead Six Sigma Certification at the Management and Strategy Institute.

Decker is also a former member of the Board of Directors at the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
