On October 2, CHD will sponsor a talk, “The Emotional Lives of Teenagers,” at 6:00 p.m. online on Zoom, featuring Dr. Lisa Damour, a clinical psychologist and author of three New York Times best sellers: Untangled, Under Pressure, and The Emotional Lives of Teenagers. She is also a regular contributor to the New York Times and CBS News. (Click on the flyer to view or download.)
Dr. Damour, Senior Advisor, Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University, will provide parents with practical information to help steer their teens through the emotionally challenging transition into adulthood—a journey that is fraught with academic and social pressure, as well as concerns about mental health.
CHD will host the talk, part of the Springfield Public Forum speaker series, at the agency’s Training Center, 1985 Main Street, Springfield. Space is limited: if you’d like to attend in person, please contact Lisa Brecher at [email protected] by September 27. This viewing session will provide an opportunity for a Q&A, and light refreshments will be served. If you’d like to watch the webinar online, register at http://bit.ly/SPFDamour.
