Taylor Scannapieco, a caseworker for youth that are placed in CHD’s comprehensive Foster Care program, was recognized as a “Game Changer” during a March 23 game played by our partners, the Springfield Thunderbirds.

Scannapieco typically has the highest caseload in her unit and is a standout social worker in a unit full of all-star-caliber staff. She visits her clients in their foster homes at least once a week, and helps ensure that that they receive all the supportive services they can benefit from. She also makes sure that all our foster parents are supported as much as possible, helping CHD guarantee that the children in our care receive the support, advocacy and permanency that they so deserve.

“Taylor represents the best that CHD has to offer in an effort to lend a helping hand to the most vulnerable children in our community,” according to her introduction during the game.
