CHD staff and individuals served by our Connecticut programs joined many others at the Rally for Nonprofit Funding at the State Capital in Hartford on April 24. At the gathering, held by the Connecticut Community Nonprofit Alliance, advocates made their voices heard in demanding meaningful funding increases for community nonprofits in the Connecticut state budget for the next fiscal year.
Advocates from Connecticut nonprofits said at the rally that they’ve been underfunded for more than a decade.
