Three CHD CASA Volunteers Sworn in at Springfield Juvenile Court

Three new volunteers in CHD’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program of Hampden County were sworn into the court’s service as child advocates by First Justice Lois M. Eaton during a recent ceremony at Springfield Juvenile Court.

Pictured (L-R) with Judge Eaton are new CASAs Cheryl Smith, Paula Fournier, and Stephanie Bradford. Fournier has been a CHD foster parent since 2018.

CASAs are volunteers from the community who work to advocate for the best interest of the child involved in foster care for cases of abuse or neglect.
