AMH-CT Supportive Housing Programs Receive Rave Reviews in Audit

CHD’s Adult Mental Health-Connecticut recently had a debriefing on its housing programs from an audit by the Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), a best practice organization that evaluates supportive housing.

CSH audited our PILOTS programs in Waterbury, Danbury, and Torrington, CT, all of which scored the highest of any program in the state at 96 percent.

“The auditor was very complimentary and asked that we participate in some peer development workshops as co-facilitators,” said AMH-CT Program Director Paul Tang. “They were particularly pleased with our client engagement and staff development programs. Our clients and staff both reported high levels of satisfaction in these areas.”

In collaboration with city housing authorities, PILOTS provides permanent housing support and mental health services to homeless individuals and families with diagnosed mental illness and substance use issues.

“Pamela Walsh and Myles DuBay are the program managers and did a wonderful job representing the agency during this audit,” said Tang. “The programs received glowing reviews for services and practices.”
