Team Cancer House of Hope Raises $6,125 in Bikes Fight Cancer Ride

Team Cancer House of Hope had 14 riders participate in the Bikes Fight Cancer (BFC) ride on June 14 at Tree House Brewing in South Deerfield. The team raised $6,125 to date toward a September 30 goal of $10,000.

“A big shout-out to all of our Team Cancer House of Hope members who endured the elements,” said CHH Program Director Margaret Toomey. “And a big thank you to Johnny and Meghan Morin and the BFC committee for the wonderful job they did putting this event together and making sure all riders were safe.” Toomey is pictured riding in photo 3.

CHD Early Intervention Supervisor Cindy Napoli was at the event to cheer on her husband, Michael Henry, who rode for Team Cancer House of Hope. Napoli, a cancer survivor, had used CHH services, including support groups, when she was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. “I loved every minute of Reiki services by Annie Knox and massage therapy at Cancer House of Hope,” said Napoli. “Thank you, Cancer House of Hope, for doing such a great job for so many people in our area!” Napoli and Henry are pictured in photo 4.
