State Departments Visit CHD Early Intervention Program
Representatives of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH)’s Early Intervention Division visited CHD’s Early Intervention (EI) program on January 12 to see services in action and learn more about CHD’s approach and the effectiveness of services.
CHD’s EI program works with children from birth to three years of age who have—or are at risk of—developmental delays.
CHD achieves over 98 percent effectiveness in providing services in a child’s natural environment, and over 97 percent of infants and toddlers served demonstrate improved use of appropriate behaviors to meet their needs.
