Join CHD’s Cancer House of Hope “Bikes Fight Cancer” Team

CHD’s Cancer House of Hope (CHH) has again partnered with Bikes Fight Cancer for their charity bike ride, which raises funds for families struggling with cancer diagnoses, as well as for treatment programs and cancer research. Proceeds from the event will be returned to our community by funding CHH and other programs in the area.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 20, at Tree House Brewing in South Deerfield. Riders can choose between 25- and 50-mile routes that snake through some of the most scenic focal points in western Massachusetts. Children are welcome to attend as well (accompanied by a parent). Everyone is welcome to enjoy the food trucks, water stops, and beverages from Tree House.

Join CHH Program Director Margaret Toomey’s Fundraising Team (pictured last year). In 2025, Bikes Fight Cancer presented CHH with a $36,000 check from funds raised in the ride last June! 100 percent of the donations collected by Team Cancer House of Hope riders will go directly to CHH.

Those who register before Sunday, February 1, at 1:00 a.m. will enjoy a discounted registration fee ($70). Each month before the race, the registration fee will increase. The last day to register will be June 15, with June registration fees reaching $120 per rider. Registered riders will also receive Bikes Fight Cancer socks, a post-ride meal, and a house beverage. Raise $100 and get a free Bikes Fight Cancer t-shirt.

Riders taking the 25-mile route will begin at 9:30 a.m., while those on the 50-mile route (some dirt roads) will start at 8:00 a.m. The pavement-only 50-mile route will begin at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers (greeters, parking, and road support) are always welcome: please register.

We hope you’ll consider supporting this incredible event which serves to benefit CHH and related programs making a difference in our community.
