On Friday, June 12, Family Outreach of Amherst will host our 23rd Annual Light Up the Night! Benefit Dinner and Auction—one of the most anticipated events in the Valley.

Known as the “party of the year,” Light Up the Night features:

• 1,000 oysters
• Grilled steak, poached salmon, and a full array of culinary favorites
• Scotch and bourbon tastings
• A curated live and online auction, packed with incredible items and experiences

More than 300 guests are expected to attend this unforgettable evening.

Why Your Sponsorship Matters

In these uncertain times—when human services and the people we serve are under attack—our work is more essential than ever. Our caseworkers are often the first to be called when a family is struggling. We’re proud to have assisted over 500 fragile families last year and helped more than 200 households avoid homelessness, despite a complex and ongoing local housing crisis. Our Spanish-speaking staff specialize in housing, benefits, parenting, and immigration. Their ability to respond to our community’s evolving needs helps families navigate challenges and raise healthy children.

With federal funding cuts looming, LUTN sponsorships are a lifeline. They allow us to assist families facing urgent situations—regardless of the issue—ensuring support reaches those most at risk.

This is our last year hosting this beloved event, and we want to make it the most spectacular yet—a grand send-off that powers our mission forward. Light Up the Night! raises over half of our annual fundraising budget, funding critical services that change lives of over 500 struggling families right here in Amherst.
