All Women Are Welcome Here
When addiction takes hold, recovery can feel out of reach. If you’re looking for a women’s recovery center in Western Massachusetts, CHD can help.
We know the challenges women can face. You may be struggling to manage a household – or to find housing. You might need a safe place to turn or support recovering from trauma. We hear you, and we want you to know that recovery is possible.
Two Rivers is a place where you can focus fully on yourself. While most women are in treatment from 6 to 12 months, you can move toward independence as soon as you’re able.
This 25-bed facility, designed for residents 18 and over, is open to:
- Pregnant and postpartum women
- Female veterans
- LGBTQ women
- Older women
- Women with disabilities
- Civilly committed women
Our team of addiction experts, on-site 24/7, will be with you from day one through aftercare. We’ll work with you to address not only your addiction, but the physical, psychological, and emotional issues that play a role in this disease.
Grounded in 12-step principles, we provide treatment programs and activities to help you heal at the deepest level.
Many women who use substances have experienced serious traumas. Untreated, this pain can be passed from one generation to the next. That’s why we include your children in the healing process. If space is available, your child is welcome to stay with you as you complete treatment.
Along with educational, housing, legal, and sober living assistance, you can join:
- Seeking Safety (trauma treatment)
- Trauma recovery empowerment
- Substance abuse education
- Relapse prevention
- Parenting support
- Meal preparation
- Yoga classes
During your stay, you’ll build a vital support network and develop the life skills and structure you need. In the days, months, and years following treatment, you’ll have friends and experts you can count on.
